Awning windows differ in design and function from traditional double-hung windows. Smaller in size, the awning window is wider than it is tall and has no rails or lines that could disturb your view.

These windows are hinged at the top of the sash and use a crank, allowing them to swing outward and create an awning space below the window; they’re extremely easy to open and compact in size.

Awning windows are most commonly placed high up on walls and above large windows, similar to picture windows.

Why might you choose awning windows for your property?

• Great for ventilation
• Energy-efficient
• Customizable to meet your needs
• Add an extra layer of security for your property as they don’t open fully
• Subtle, yet beautiful way to let more light into your space
